The hyper-articulated RAH Spawn stands 12â tall and is listed as having a fabric cape and costume. Spawn is clad in a sleek black costume, wearing studded lopsided gauntlets and boots, chains dangling from the skull-faced buckles. The cape is high-collared and multi-layered, writhing with a life of its own. The costume itself is a symbiotic entity fueled by the necroplasm contained within Spawnâs reanimated body. As such, the costume is neural-linked to Spawn, capable of varying defensive and offensive measures. Al Simmons was a CIA agent betrayed and murdered by his boss. Though Simmons was not evil, his violent proclivities facilitated a trip to Hell, at which point he necessarily forged a pact with Malebolgia for the opportunity to see his wife again. Unfortunately, by the time Simmons did see her again, five years had passed---Simmons was now Spawn, and Wanda had married Simmonsâ best friend. Spawn struggled to resist a completely evil metamorphosis, all the while battling servants of Hell, agents of Heaven, and a modest slate of bizarre Earthly adversaries.
