Dancouga was generated to quash the invasion staged by a moderately hostile alien empire. The four human pilots relative to the defense effort distinguished themselves on the merits of their individual components, the latter of which were drawn into various campaigns and intrigues prior to the culmination of Dancouga. Once combined, Eagle Fighter formed Dancouga?s head, Land Cougar the left foot and Land Liger the right, and Big Moth formed the core of the super-robot.
